Mr Cheruiyot is a safety and security specialist and facilitator. He has over 17 years’ experience in the field, having served as a police officer in the Kenya government and subsequently as a security advisor in a number of international NGOs. These NGOs allowed him to serve in hostile environments such as South Sudan, Somalia among others. Samwel has a degree in Criminology and Security management, he is also a certified trainer of trainers (TOT) with UN SSAFE and REDR UK, and one of the Africa Regional Safety and Security Advisors.
He has trained many organizations in the field of safety and security both for profit and nonprofit.
